Beyond the Infringe
Feb. 15th, 2007 11:30 amI don't listen to country music, as a rule, and we rarely have the TV on for anything showing music vids, but Eleanor came home the other day recommending a piece by the group Lonestar which had been playing on the store's televisions, called Mr. Mom. She found it on AOL Video, which I tend to avoid, but the hey, here tis:

Being more of a YouTube kinda guy, I'd sought it out there before finally seeing the AOL-provided version. All traces of the original video had been YouPurged by the Copyright Police, natch, but the remixed ones left behind were, in many ways, even better:

Mufasa as Mr. Mom:
And the ever-popular Mr. Sim version:
Here are some others I'd like to see:
- Laura Bush going off to work, leaving Dubya to chase the Twins around the White House;
- Tony Soprano getting whacked by his own kids;
- and the Dead Anna Nicole version, which might have to be called "Mr. Moms" at the rate the paternity proceedings are going.
Any I'm missing?
