Our evening in the land of television:
* Downloaded and watched our perfectly legal copy of the second episode of Portlandia. If you are a fan of pretty much any sci-fi fandom of the past several dozen years, you should find and watch this- and I am not saying why.
*We then caught this QI , the last of Series H we'd never seen. Plenty of horse-sense and Claire-voyance to go round.
* Suddenly bereft of episodes and DVD-age, Eleanor simply asked me to spin the Wheel of Fortune on the cable dial to see what else might be on. Since the BBC has been so bloody bloody good to us, I popped over to channel 109 to see what was on....
and got to see the closing credits of an episode of the new(er) Battlestar Galactica.
For the record, I did NOT see the closing credit of Ronald D. Moore as executive producer, but that's probably just as well. There's no telling when his wife was gonna get home.
