"Hey! Who's the Barber Here?"
Aug. 25th, 2021 11:59 pmOur second refi closed this morning, quickly and painlessly. They never showed us the appraisal they used for it, but it cost them all of 40 bucks, and it must have been much closer to what we thought the place was worth the previous go-round. Houses have been flying off the shelves around here this year.
Even this one.

It was with one realtor for weeks, never a sign of an open house, until a new one planted her own sign and then a SOLD one a week or so later. Note the uninspected 80s beater of an Oldsmobile parked out front, as it was the entire time it was on market; not what they mean by "curb appeal," yo.
Anyway- for the past few days, dude has been running a yard sale in front.

Both of us saw that sign out front and thought it said SUE.
Among the stranger items up for sale? A barber chair. The old school one with the springloaded seat and everything. Eleanor mistook it for a wheelchair at first. But the best part? When I went to work after the closing this morning, I drove by and it was gone.
Now maybe somebody has TWO CHAIRS NO WAITING.

Funny isn't it?
