Good Things

* I took Pepper at 9:30 for her annual vaccines and checkup, and she's doing well. Weight is a little up from her last visit, but that's way down from her Pandemic Ten, when we just weren't getting her out as much. (We've also changed her diet a bit and that seems to help.) They are now letting us back in with the pets when they have their exams, which is a nice return of normalcy.
* At noon, I worked in a workout when a client canceled an 11:30 appointment. The significance of it wasn't how far or how fast I went, but how steady. On most of their treadmill segments, which are between 14 and 22 minutes depending on the class length and organization, I feel the need to slowwww downnnn at least a few times to what they call a "walking recovery" rate of just 3 mph. Today, I managed an entire 22 minute segment never dropping below 4 mph, and much of it with slight speed increases and some significant added-on inclines. I'm not going to win any races at that pace, but at least I stand a chance of finishing one someday.
* The afternoon then ended with confirmation that our additional home equity financing has been approved. That means we can pay off our solar panel loan which is twice the rate and with Not Nice People, and get the HVAC and other structural repairs all scheduled with a single resulting payment not that much more than the solar is costing us now.
We're both still a little hungover tired from the construction crew two nights ago- they fired up again at about 10 last night, but we think that was just to move the equipment up the road to the next segment- and we got, and expect to get, much better nights of it after that.
And th-th-th-th-that's all, folks:)
