Had a little accil-ent two nights ago. This keyboard had an unfortunate encounter with a refreshing beverage, and I wound up with a wet bunch of stuff.  By yesterday morning, I'd realized it was worse than I thought: two letters of the alphabet had completely seized. Ironically enough, this disaster was brought to you by the letters "r" and "y." Hence my new, shortened, name.
I also lost most of my number-key row, but those are mostly available on the side number panel. I got through a whole bankruptcy petition yesterday down these keys- and a new KB is on order, but ah, what fun it's been.

A good half-baggie of cat hair also came out when I pried off those suckas. 

Been at the other office since 10 this morning, with 3 client appointments after 4 p.m., and won't be home until close to 8 tonight.

More tomorrow from a day not as long.

You need what another lawyer friend of mine calls a "spit shield" for your 'puter. We got one for her after 3:00am drunken emailing led to a full can of spilled Fresca on her laptop. The whole keyboard died in that one. She was ready to total the laptop until I was able to plug in an auxiliary KB until the replacement arrived in the mail. A lot cheaper than buying a new machine.
