Wednesday was Prince Spaghetti Day in Boston's Italian North End, but it was today, a Saturday, that I got brained first thing in the morning by an open box of Wegmans Attack Pasta.

It got better after that:)

I hit the office supply store and restocked jewelboxes, among other things, and with them finally got around to restacking (and replacing the broken jewelboxes among) the 200 DVDs that Zoey knocked over last month.  That rack is staying in Emily's room, behind closed door, until her launching pad of a refrigerator moves to its final home.

Next, I cleared the garage of about 200 cubic feet of empty cardboard boxes- the ones for the cooktop, microwave, sink, and, yes, the printer I've had in this office for going on two years. Don't think I'll be returning it at this point, yo.

I've worked on a couple of files, am getting my time records done for the week, and am generally over the discontent of midweek. When things got annoyingly quiet yesterday, I just laid it all aside and went out and mowed the front lawn.

Eleanor's re-priming the kitchen ceiling and dreaming of when this will be finished.

i have filled the space under the basement stairs with empty boxes. boxes i should really get rid of. but it was my habit to hoard boxes because back when i first moved out of my parents house, i moved 7 times in 6 years from apartment to apartment. it was just easier to fold all the boxes up and keep them for the next move. they were good boxes. plus the boxes for specific things came in handy. but i've lived in this house for 11 years now. i dont think i'm going to need the boxes to a microwave or toaster oven or food processor or most of that other boxes down there. old habits die hard tho.
