There are two big boxes of tile for the backsplashes that arrived yesterday. The rest should be here tomorrow.

Also yesterday, we got word that the countertops will arrive on the 9th.

Tomorrow, we will be ordering the new sink to go in the hole in the new countertops. Fortunately, Eleanor already realized that our kitchen faucet fixtures have no independent shutoff valves, so those will go in this weekend prepatory to the counters coming in.

There's just one section of Crappy Old Tile still remaining to pry off. Once this starts, it should go quickly.

Tomorrow will be my fourth straight morning of court, with a fifth now committed to an out-of-town gig on Friday, but after next Monday I am clear of fixed-time commitments for the rest of the week, so that should help.

The project so far hasn't been without hiccups- one fairly large hammer has completely disappeared- but it's going to be something to be enjoyed and proud of once it's done.
