That's all 2014 has left to us, give or take a minute or two. I've usually done year-end reviews to one extent or another, and will spend some time thinking and writing about the year tomorrow, but overall, I think, more good came from this year than anything else.
Today, my last on the road toward Rochester in 2014, wound up being mostly a waste from a work perspective, as the Thing I set out to get finished and signed there couldn't be, no fault of my own. I did get to bring the kids a trunk full of things they'd either forgotten or realized they needed- and I wound up finding my birthday card to Emily that I'd bought a year before and, for some odd reason, never got round to giving her last year. It had a heartfelt message that was even more appropriate after the accomplishments and events of the past year, so sometimes forgetfulness can be a good thing:)
I rewatched the "Last Christmas" Doctor Who episode tonight, Eleanor joining me in seeing it for the first time, and we both enjoyed it tremendously. The Inception-ish aspect of the sci-fi plot made a lot more sense to me this time- although I'm once again expecting plenty of weird dreams tonight which I will hopefully shake off by morning.
See you, likely, one more time before Next Year:)
