Surprise surprise.... LJ's misbehaving again.

Pictures in entries aren't loading right. Comments don't display properly (an entry will say "5 comments" but only one will be legible). And some of your entries aren't posting to my friendspage at all- but I can see them just fine if I go to your journal proper.

It's a problem with cookie handling, from the looks of things at lj_maintenance. That's been a longtime issue for me- getting logged out repeatedly, subjected to an ad-filled login page, and then told to "go have fun."

I've had to turn off the Firefox login-plugin completely, since it was completely gorking the uploading of pictures.

Sigh. I've got a couple more DW invite codes, if you think the dance band on the Titanic is getting a bit too off-key.

Also done, which you may not have seen: I added an RSS of your DW so it will show up on my LJ friendspage. People need to just go to this page-

outofwater_dw

and/or click on the thingie in its name that looks like outgoing waves in place of the user head, and then click on the "subscribe" link in the upper right.

You can also fiddle with settings to have DW simultaneously post your entries to LJ.

I do so love that the LJ team doesn't make anyone aware of these things other than by burying posts on a page few people read, too. Sigh.

Only thing that's stopping me is their lack of a scrapbook equivalent. I've got a lot of imagery uploaded over here and without a similar way to display stuff, I don't think I can make the break.

Do you think you could convince your wife to crosspost? She is one of the main reasons I still check out my LJ account, and really I'd like to be able to move to DW entirely at some point...

I'll see if she can do that. Meanwhile, I'm trying to set up RSS feeds of both her journal and mine that will automatically cross-post to DW, but the DDOS gremlins appear to be messing with that at the moment.

Edited: OK, if you add these to your DW "circles," you'll at least get our public entries. The modifier to include protected entries in the feeds seems not to be working, but we post relatively few of those:
