who gave up Facebook for Lent:



Yup, that's The Book Who Lived.  The replacement for the Copy From Hell, which Kimmy has our blessing to give to anybody she wants and might just give to a certain former social mediaite with penchants for pancakes.

The just-as-pretty on her left is the author of said book, who made me just about cry yesterday reading about the sudden loss of her evil (but never to her) cat Schubert but who got me smiling again this morning as I read all of the birthday wishes to her.

We're still locked in our garage and I haven't heard from my opponent for just over three hours from now, but really. How can a day beginning with this be bad?

ETA. The cars are sprung, the case is postponed. And audacian is coming to town today!

I am taking a week off work in a couple of weeks, and I plan to devour that book. OK, not literally.

And I am so sorry to hear about her kitty!! I've had three friends in the past couple of days who lost a kitty friend. :-/

Any of them want to adopt one? Our neighbor's offloaded two of her four to the SPCA, and the other two (one, the size of a small third world country) will need homes once her house sells.

Lillie works for the Blount County Animal Shelter near Knoxville and they just got a dump of 40 hoarded cats the other day they're trying to rehome. :-/ Too many kitties to go around.

On a completely different (and much happier) note, did you see Karaz belleh???? She really popped since the last time I saw her. Little girl will be here in just over a month. :-D I can't wait to be an auntie again.

Aww, I'm glad the Book Adventure ended well!
