I'm convinced that most of the autocorrect fails posted online are fakes.

This one isn't.

"Client" is the word in question here:

Best autocorrect -- well, actually spelling suggestion -- ever:

A friend of mine is a tech writer in Germany. She put the German word for mouse driver -- maustreiber -- into a Word document.

Microsoft's German dictionary didn't have that word. What it suggested was masturbier.

Which means exactly what you think it means.

You think they're fakes? Most of them have the ring of authenticity to them, to me. Either way, they make me laugh HARD.

Related: you can go into most word processing programs & add custom spelling AutoCorrects. This is a good thing to remember around April Fool's Day.

A lot of the text ones I see on the failsites just sound a little too "doth protest too much" during the supposed textings. When I screw up like that, the last thing I want to do is call more attention to it- at least in realtime.

(Btw, nice job on the Cowboys. Feel free to whip the Patriots and Jets with similar vigor:)
