Awakening for the morning report of animal famine ::koff:: at 5:30, I actually felt better than I had for most of yesterday, so I went about the rounds of beady little eyes and hoped for the best.

Four-ish hours of weird-dream-filled sleep later? Not the worst, but worse.  I bailed out of church and cardio, and have only been out of the house for essential provisions (liquids and kitty litter) during the Bills game.

Which I do not want to talk about.

Eleanor's still battling the bug, too, and we've been online a fair piece, among other things following various aspects of the Occupy Wall Street/Main Street/Your Street movement. One thing I would like to point out to any banks out there: you probably want to suspend your Google AdSense contracts for the next few weeks, because you're bound to be producing some unfortunate anatidaephobic results like this:



I did manage to up my MSN3K word count by well over 50 percent, and am waiting on official word on when I can start blabbing about the material and/or release the draft to beta-reading.

And happy early birthday to [livejournal.com profile] la_rainette AND [livejournal.com profile] bill_sheehan. Taking the atheist and the Catholic school teacher, putting them in a room with a humidifier and a dehumidifider and letting them ALL fight it out;)
