Yesterday, I limped to the end of the Miracle Day marathon, and realised....

He's going to sacrifice himself. But he's Jack. He'll survive.

And he did.

I've got other issues with where-all that went and where-all it goes from here. For one, I'd like to think that in the most secure room in the whole oversecure CIA, with Q in charge no less, where they know there's a mole, said mole will not go unnoticed, tralala pulling out a mobile, with a $10,000 Pyramid app on it, and then be able to signal her betrayal, AND not get noticed until her mobile number's down to the last two digits, AND then be able to sachay over to a drawer with a bomb in it, still unnoticed until everyone blows up real good.

Plus, the Esther bit. She died, but wasn't dead, but then was. Right? Wrong?

I'm glad Jilly made the cut, if there is a cut to make for this crew to return with Jack and Gwen. Not so glad she's still on Darth Vader's side after everything. Thoroughly enjoyed Gwen's kissoff line to her about the lipstick, and somehow I like to think My Claire Under There enjoyed it, too.

In the end, not worth all the agony, but I'll probably get sucked into the next one.

And just now, exactly 37:52 into The Girl Who Waited, which I have not finished yet, I realised, or at least I think I did,

She's gonna sacrifice herself. But she's Old Amy. And she won't survive.

Thus sparing us all make of issues over why her skin ages so badly but her hair remains remarkably perfect.

::watches::

Mmmmm, not quite. But quite a bit of quite.

Not a hint of arc, though. Wouldn't some mention of Melody have been relevant to old Amy's decision?

Nevermind. I'll just be sitting here rapping "Apalupacia!"
