Birthday #42- Lower Manhattan Randomness

Dunno. Just seems wrong to post for urbpan's birthday without a picture.



I got that shot just about at this exact moment two Mondays ago. It recalled a joke I once pulled on my friend Tink in downtown Boston, where there's a similarly named street. When we got under the street sign, I put an arm around her, told her to stop, and then moved to the other side of her. Looking at me like I was crazy (hardly a false assumption), I told her to look up and that I was just following the directions on the sign.

Her response that day was "Oh Ray."  My response to you today is "Happy Birthday, man." What Eleanor already said, I say, and we needn't exchange places for that.
