Look boss! Detrain! Detrain!

About to head back to work after a totally amazing weekend. Friends made and Met, Harry duly (not deathly) Hallowed, beautiful weather throughout, and now on track to make court on time today and home by prolly 9 or so. Tonnage of pics will follow; several people linked their albums from Saturday's game and celebration to posts on the "Mets Bloggers" group on Facebook, which I think is openly viewable.
These are more bullet points for me to fill in later, but among the stories to be retold are:
-- Friday with Donna and dogfriend, and how to get free pet antibiotics at Wegmans;
-- things in traffic between Binghamton and Flushing, including one Lamborghini, one beater with plate number CAR2D2, and one very cool billboard about Miracle Day;
--speaking of miracles, the Mets honored Dana's memory with an 11-2 beatdown of the Phillies. Pity we couldn't have invoked that karma for all three games;
-- Sunday in the old neighborhood, featuring a sermon based on kudzu, a sad number of teardown houses, and kids who don't play in the street together and don't even talk to each other anymore;
-- the friend who went up a mountain and, thank gods, didn't come down in traction. Also, Lincoln porn, spooky obelisks, an 87-year-old croquet goon, a passage to Narnia lacking only 50-year old knobs from a vacuum-tube television set in a wooden cabinet, and some wicked stories of racing drivers and their prosthetics;) Thanks especially to you, mdear, who never made a sound (as one certain chicken, green, fat) also failed to do when I crept out at 20 minutes to ass o'clock;)
-- and surely other stuff I'm forgetting, much as the client later this morning forgot to procure the One Vital Document both I and the court told her to bring. Fortunately, she still has two hours to fix that before I will need to come back. We'll see.
Meanwhile, have a random picture fitting none of the above. A Rochester client gave me a check to put in Saturday morning, so when I was the first one in at the drive-through, it turned out I HADN'T been the first:
Thus, the new slogan:
M&T- SOME BANK

WONDERFUL to see you, and I hope you enjoyed the tour!
