Revenge of the Brain

Another one of those days where the brain is finally getting back at the downstairs tenants.
I'm 40-ish pages into my seminar outline. Those do not count the appendices of blank forms and straight government interpretation that I can no longer figure out how to insert as .pdf objects into my main Word document.
Six seven of my ten bullet points are shot and killed, including the three worst of them. I will finish this damn thing on time, but I really wish, hindsightwise, I hadn't had to blow so much of such a beautiful day today doing it.
ETA. Why you really shouldn't drink whilst writing seminar outlines.

A few quick travel notes:
Our next-weekend road trip to Asheville NC is now a last-weekend-of-June trip. I likely will drive both ways myself, and fly Eleanor over my head for each of the there and back days.
Also, once the sponsors straighten out the very wonky website for ordering the ticket, I will be confirming my probably only Met game trip of the year to Citi Field, on Saturday July 16. I will post more about Why That Day in the near future, but there's a lot of bitter in the reason, balanced by a bit of sweet in the chance to spend that afternoon with a lot of very good fellow friends in Faith and Fear. That one will be just me, and it's an afternoon game that day, so if anyone within 200 miles or so has any hankering to put me up (or put up with me) late that night or the next day, let me know before June moves too far along the odometer.
