captainsblogThey announced the downtown free concert schedule today. I'd been holding out hope that Carbon Leaf would be on it, since they were last here on their schedule for the first (and so far only) time I've ever seen them, four or five years ago, and they've been coming close without actually hitting the stage here since. They do have a September 15th gig scheduled at Rochester's Water Street Music Hall, though, and since Emily will be back to school by then, I'm thinking of making it a date night with at least her.
AND/OR! The night before! Just booked at the Tralf! I've been seeing shows at this historic venue since the early 80s, as it's gone through a half dozen different mismanagements, but damn. I have GOT to make time for this!

Of the only four free Thursday at the Square concerts at the original venue, though? What could be better than the Motherfuckin Timmmmmmme?!?
This one's June 9th, which is the Thursday after our first possible road trip in ages. I'm likely to stop downtown for this one just to see if Jay and Silent Bob show up:)
