captainsblogI am really getting tired of my computer waking me up on the dot of 3 a.m. because I either didn't see, or didn't pay attention to, a Windows Update icon in my traybar. You never know until you hit "install" whether it's going to force another reboot on you, and I had a bit much to get to yesterday to go through that bullshit, so I let it go, put the thing (and me) to sleep, and yet sure enough, come 3 a.m., .... grunt, whirr, da-dinnnnng!
Since I've been on a run of really weird dreams of late (two nights ago, a mixture of soft porn and a Get Smart episode, plus all kinds of people coming back into my head who I haven't thought of in 10 to 20 years), I'm wondering whether there are any OTHER updates being downloaded through the ether I should know about.

Damn. I knew I should have turned off that Skype thing in general settings.
