Or those tornadoes and hailstorms all over the freakin' country would be REALLY bad. So far, all we've got is a daylong blast of gale-force winds; somehow, we came out of it with all of our cans and boxes intact (it was garbage day here, natch) and two extra recycling blueboxes on our front lawn. I have no idea who they belong to.

Strangest sports headline of the week:  God's Gift plans to announce decision Thursday.  Yup, there's a junior-college basketball player in this area with the actual given name of "God's Gift." Wonder what Trump would say about HIS birth certificate?

The rest of my day has been a mixture of dull work, clingy animals, and TMI posts.  Which, believe me, I still prefer over the dull work and the clingy animals, if not necessarily in that order.

Many thanks to the William and Melinda Gates Insomnia Foundation for managing to wake me up at 3 a.m. AGAIN with a forced-update and mandatory reboot. How it does this when the puter is supposedly asleep, I've yet to figure out.
