Thanks to urbpan, the one donor who managed to navigate through the labyrinth of Paypalia and make a donation to our friend's cause last week. To the several others of you who couldn't, whether by clicking the widget or following the Hey!-Try-This! linkage I sent them, I'm sorry.  It seems both of those options involve secure links that browsers or Windows Security settings just don't like.

Let's try it in its simplest form here.



1) Click this-



(if it doesn't work like nothing Paypal seems to for me, or if you just don't like clicking links, just go to this Paypal site:

https://www.paypal.com/us/

Can't get much more basic than that, right?)

2) Log in to your account (presuming here you have one; you can set one up if you don't, but by the time your account is confirmed it'll be past the deadline for this. My bad.)

3) Click the "send money" tab.

4) Use my cranky old paypal email addy for this purpose- bk853@bfn.org- pick your amount, change it to USD if it doesn't default to that, then switch the tab below it to "personal."

5) This money is being sent as a (click "gift" radio button).

6) Click review and send.
