Oh, the joys of having a home office.

No getting stuck in traffic. Your co-workers mostly have four paws. You can get right to work once the weird dream about mopping your entire 1975 paper route drains out of your brainbox.

On the other hand....

I am now 3-for-3 this workweek at being awakened from that-weird or worse-weird dreams, all at or just before 8 a.m. (which to my aching body still feels like 7 a.m., tyvmDST)  by incoming faxes. On the first two of those mornings, I didn't even get the pleasure of reading the fax, since my able office assistant-

-somehow managed to turn off the "autoanswer" function on the machine. Since it took about three tries at entering 10 precise menu keystrokes to turn the thing back on, that's no small feat.

Fortunately, small feat is something she still can haz.

On an off topic: have you tried to donate to my goat-rodeo of a church cause? Did the PayPal linky not work for you? Is THAT what's bothering you, bunky?
If so, just say so in a comment to this entry- they're screened- and leave your email if I don't already have it. I'll send you the direct link, and will keep your comment screened if it has something identifiably in it.

Your able office assistant is a bit of a menace. Was she the culprit in eating the bones the other night?

We never found any evidence of who it was. As George Harrison once titled an album, "All Things Must Pass."
