Rain, Reign O'er Me
Sep. 30th, 2010 04:19 pmIt's been dreary, dark and depressing just about all day. Plus the weather sucks.
My Flist has been one bad weather forecast after another; win, though, to
whyaduck, who took it on with this:
Oh, and apparently biblical rains are on the way. Time to round up the evil giraffes.
About the first thing I saw online today was this horrid tale of a guy who's never gonna realize that It Gets Better. The perp had already spawned a Facebook support page (since, blissfully, taken down) which was captioned "he just did it for the lulz; it's not a hate crime."
Then I discovered, during my last pre-library blast of bankruptcy research, that both houses of the New York State Legislature actually passed a useful bill, which will benefit my clients enormously; but that it's been in Shelly Silver Hell since July, on account of Michael Fucking Bloomberg being upset about a peripheral aspect of it. Plus, the Democratic AG candidate is one of its sponsors, and Mikey doesn't want the guy getting any credit for it before the election.
Right, off to UB to citecheck this mofo, then cardio, then home for a better evening, right? Say right.

Date: 2010-09-30 08:37 pm (UTC)Where is my belief in innocent until proven guilty?
I know, that's a horrible thing, but man, I remember how miserable I was for my 3 semesters at Rutgers for my MLIS, and I cringe when I remember all the crap I heard routinely there.
