Not the doctor of that name, but certainly the much-needed medicine for me today.
After multiple meetings and appointments the past two days and more scheduled for tomorrow, I needed a day with just me, the computer and the phone to dig out of a pretty deep hole. I had a pretty invigorating ::koff:: workout last night which is still sending protests up to my brain from my lower body, so it was definitely a good day to stay close to home until the end of the day.
Eleanor, meanwhile, got bumped up to a full-time shift and was pretty exhausted herself by the time it was over, so I provided takeout (pods, a local delicacy, along with some of their caramel apple pie because hey, sometimes, you need pie). Mother Nature added the cool, and the animals continued their daylong tradition of looking simply adorable. Eleanor had taken a bunch of shots of the aminals to email to Emily (Zoey and Tasha, mostly), but I got this one in of the oldest boy sleeping on the bed during my entire workday:

More recently, I've noodled around trying to find a copy of Going Postal, the adaptation of the Terry Pratchett piece with an amazing cast including David "Poirot" Suchet and Andrew "Manuel!" Sachs. I'll likely wind up just getting it from Amazon; time will tell whether it'll be the .com or the .co.uk division.
Also? Parp!
