Put. The Internets. DOWN.
Sep. 13th, 2010 03:33 pmNot a good day for the IT Crowd, domestic division.
First, my printer drivers decided to get all nostalgic for my early days with Vista, where they'd just disappear every week or so, and they went poof! right before I needed to print some fairly major opposition to some stuff. (I got them back easily enough, but now I'm gonna be Gaslighted (gaslit?) wondering when it'll happen next.)
Then, I gave
firynze a prize for winning the Internets-

-on account of a hilarious Star Wars spoof Youtube she posted. Which caused us both some serious confusion when, moments later, it was replaced on her entry with a very different (and very clearly her) home-Youtubing of her fairly famous fat green chicken.
Now sometimes, Java will get gorked when rendering one of my LJ pages and will replace an embedded Youtubey item with another I'd recently viewed. But I'd never seen the Star Wars one before. And neither had she.
I do hope Princess Leia isn't trying to contact us.
