I do not like your Instant Search
It causes my own brain to lurch
I know what I am searching for
And do not need this "help" that you're
Continuing to offer me
I do not need it, and can't see
A preference that you'll let me store
To turn it "off" forevermore

I do not like it for my job
The damned distraction serves to rob
My working day of valuable time
(Worth much more on satiric rhyme)
I do not like it for my scores
And scrolling through the crap that pours
Out of my browser when I type
A single word- oh Googly tripe!

In time, I know, they'll co-opt me
And my washed brain will come to see
That thinking for me is a win
(For me, as well as Page and Brin)
Their servers will now happily speed
And "sponsored link"ers now will feed
Their coffers with more megabucks-
"I'm feeling lucky"? Nah, it sucks.
