I stopped at a friend's office tonight, and on the front door of the building they had already posted warnings about a mama Canada goose in the parking lot who was nesting out there.  When I headed out through that exit, I got to see what all the fuss was about:

Ain't nobody having those eggs for breakfast anytime soon.

A week or so ago, [livejournal.com profile] baseballchica03 posted a recommendation of Pirate Radio. I Netflixed it, told the grrls I had done so,.... and was quickly reminded that they had requested it weeks ago.

Oh well. We watched it tonight, and it was all kinds of awesome. I figured out the Jesus question long before the characters did, got fooled by who Carl's father was (given the horse jokes, I wondered aloud if it was our dear local buggery-fan Carl Paladino),  but through it all loved the characters, and the soundtrack, and pretty much the whole bloody thing.

We visit RIT tomorrow. Still waiting on plans to visit Columbus before decision day on May 1, although after reading [livejournal.com profile] ayrshire_of_elm's simply wondrous post tonight about loose cows on the Ohio State campus, we're tempted to make the roadie to Columbus College of Art & Design solely to meet someone as fabulous as the vet student there who said, I can't wait to be a 4th year student because then you go get to chase your patients.

That line killed me, too. My officemate and I wish our jobs involved getting to chase our clients around. Right now we'd really like to do that to some of them....
