Eleanor made a frittata for tonight. Zoey gave it her seal of approval:



Not long after that, Mommy came home with a new toy to amuse the troops:





And while, yes, they do play with it, they've been even more fascinated by the box- probably because some of the factory-installed catnip got into the cardboard:





Zoey has also been making it her life's work to knock over a Tupperware container of buttermilk biscuits that was atop the refrigerator.  There are now two other boxes piled atop it.  You can just hear her thinking, A thumb, a thumb, my kingdom for a thumb!

We've had hail and thunder already this morning. Not sure what plagues are left.

Our cats have one of those :). Sometimes I think they're being deliberately contrary when they prefer a toy's packaging to the toy itself.

Mine always prefer the packaging, and love things like the ring from a milk jug or the lid off of a plastic bottle.

And I thought of you today when I checked the Sundown in the City schedule (free concerts in Knoxville from April-June.) Jill Andrews is playing the second show. You should come down! ;-)
