captainsblogEmily was asked to do a design for a formal scholarly presentation.
Earlier today, I saw a post from the Friend who's writing the paper, and asked if Em had been submitting the art as requested.
Not only has she?
The figure was even called 'excellent' by reviewer one. :)
And the image in question?
A zombie:)

ETA. Even with Emily's permission, I will have to f-lock the art itself, to prevent the image from being deemed "pre-published," but I can, and should, note three other things. (1) The paper in question is graduate-school level. (2) The commenter, although anonymous, is a professional in the field of the paper's main academic discipline (NOT zombies, although wouldn't it be great if you could major in it?), AND (3) has worked with professional illustrators in the past.
