In the years since our last budget crisis, you've kept most of your branches open, but at the cost of your limiting acquisitions for all of them, so it's fairly common for new books to be on waiting lists. That's fine; 25 cents is a fair price to reserve one. But isn't it kinda stupid that you give readers the standard three weeks once a book DOES come in? It would make a lot more sense to put them back on 7-day loans until the demand ceases, which will get it in new hands faster.

I know, you guys are trying to tart up the image, but I'm not sure if this ad quite captures what you're looking for:
Somehow, I picture this leading to an intimate moment gone horribly wrong:
HE: Honey, I've got to hock a loogie right now, but I've got my special-occasion snotrag right here to deal with it.
SHE: Ooh, baby. I'll go put on my best negligee.
Not to mention how much that "feels good to feel" thing creeps me out in that particular context.

If you put Cornell in a 16 seed, or, worse, the play-in game, I shall hurt you. Even better, I will intentionally foul you six times in the last minute. With my special-occasion snotrag.
