Wolves and Jaguars and Cougars, oh my!
Dec. 18th, 2009 07:56 pmI took an unexpected detour on the way home from Eleanor's checkup at ECMC this morning, and when she asked where I was going, I replied, "Proving my love for you."
The sidetrip was to Bustblocker. For a copy of Twilight. Which she was bored enough during her recuperation to want towatch mock.
They were closed at that hour- hell, a year from now they'll probably be closed closed- so I hit up the nearest Redbox and filled her daily order of sparklies there. I then headed off for six hours of fresh hell in Rochester, which I am recently returned from. I'm informed that the film is quite MST3kworthy. Get a few more drinks in me and we'll see how that goes.
----
I did not get to watch last night's Colts-Jags battle, it being on the NFL Network which our cable company is still snitting with, but I did have the brushed-by-greatness knowledge that a Friend of mine was actually in da house watching it in person. Despite the result, she has seen fit to turn another year older today.
Sarah's one of the first friends-of-friends I branched out to meet here, and that tree has been anything but twee. It's been fun, informative, touching, occasionally sad (when her beloved leaves her for extended work trips), always happy following those when he returns, and full of words and pictures and once-removed experiences that are so uniquely her.
Happiest of birthdays to
sgauta ::hugs::

And what wench, what will'o'the'wisp, what Who of Whoville was it who introduced me to such a sweet friend?
The newest Cougar to roam the deserts of Deseret, is Who.
She's created a one-off blog for her new and sultry adventures. Her tongue is so stuck through her cheek that you can see the tip of it sticking out from underneath a cute purple sock, but it's been fun to meet this latest Character In Search of An Arthur Not the Dexter One.
Follow it here, if you dare.
