Among Zoey's many fascinations from the past week is a purple sock that's been dragged about a mile and a half through the house in the past several days, bringing back the fondest memories of Moochie:

Today wound up not much of an improvement over yesterday- technologically better, but I got word of an adverse (and, in my heart I believe, truly wrong) decision on a case that probably will not be appealed; while at the gym, I got to watch a high-speed car chase in L.A. and listen to the Foxsuckers actually wonder out loud if it was a "training exercise" on 9/11 (sheesh, nobody would be dumb enough to do THAT, would they?); and they then followed the chase with the perfectly appropriate 9/11 announcement that Imus is going to be their new morning man. Welcome to post-racial America.
I really have nothing else to add right now. Frightening, huh?
