Aug. 13th, 2008 01:20 pmSomeone dropped their gum in Teh Intraweb tubes when I got up to feed aminals this morning. I couldn't get to many linked sites off my friendspage, and even the newspaper was doing the wonky basic-HTML thing it was doing a couple of weeks ago.
That's all better now, the better to get annoyed by other sites.
A Friend posted a seriously evil document through a megaupload link. (No, I'm not copying it or even explaining it. Put down that very large axe.) To get it, I had to go through megaupload's sales department. Here's what they display to you when you click one of their download links:
So essentially, what they're saying is: our basic product sucks. It's really, REALLY bad. You're probably contracting a computer virus just reading about it. Don't you want the subscription to the supery-dooper premium version that will prioritize your download, free your brain from ads, and win the war for the Allies?
Forty seconds later, the free download took about one second. Not only will I not use them for my own uploads, here I am, trash-talking them. You should, too-
