You'd think that, with no significant blog posts to read, and less to write, I'd have time for things like Torchwood: Miracle Day.
Nope.
I'm stuck halfway into the second episode, from two weekends back. I'm just not LIKING these people the way I do the Doctor and friends, or Nurse Jackie and staff, or even Dexter. I'm sensing that fairly typical BBC tendency to villify the Americans, bringing out their worst; while the current Who season so far took a run at that by featuring Nixon, at least we got him out of the way quickly enough for the usual aliens (and even some unusual ones) to make their appearances.
Even Claire-um-Jilly, now that I've finally met her, isn't doing much for me. I'm liking her more than Esther, who for almost an entire episode I thought was her, but she still isn't warming my heart the way she did as Claire, or as KW, and certainly not as Emma, the last thing I saw/heard her as.
And I just now got a rash of eighteen straight setup[insert eight digit number]-dot-exe files tring to open themselves onto my computer. Best go kill dat.
