Is it just me, or is this year careening along at breakneck speed?  It seems that just days ago, we were taking down the Christmas decorations, and now we've already blown past the biggest commercial winter holiday with the midwinter school break suddenly here.

Things move even faster from here. Easter comes early this year and we're already two weeks into Lent. Daylight Savings Time resumes three weeks from today. Pitchers and catchers have reported, and the NHL trade deadline is next freakin week.

The Presidential primaries are effectively over; apologies to Ron Paul and the creepy people from Arkansas, but you're toast. The Oscars, having risen from the dead, will be past-tense again in just over a week, and pretty much every tv show I care about is either done for the season (Heroes, Pushing Daisies) or down to a limited number of eps that were already in the can (Lost, which, I might add, I totally am when it comes to that arc).

So what say you? Is '08 dragging its arse in your life?

The year is flying for me. This is my first Lent and not eating out is making saturday drag a bit, but the rest is just either running by me or running me over!

'08 has smacked me in the kisser, bowled me over, and left me for dead. This year is indeed traveling at warp speed. Just when I think I've got a handle on everything, it all changes, and another week as gone by. Throw in a move to TN or VA, and it'll be Labor Day before you know it.
