If you feed your animal canned ("wet") food? Check this list NOW. Especially if you shop at Wegmans or Walmart.
Dozens of brands of canned pet food recalled.
There are a couple of Iams and Eukanuba products on there, but they're mostly private-label. Around here, the ones causing alarm are our own Wegmans house brands (Wegmans for cats and Bruiser for dogs), Wally World's, Price Chopper, President's Choice (which I think Tops or Quality/P&C may carry) and Sav-a-lot. Downstate stores include Foodtown and Key Food, and nationally, Kroger and Safeway's brands are affected.
Again, it's just the canned foods.
We're amazingly unaffected- the cats are all Nine Lives and the dogs eat Bruiser, but the dry kind- but after recent events, you can imagine me being a little sensitive about this.

At our level, that would be on the order of Pfizer merging with Phillip Morris. Not that I'd rule that out, given our current Justice Department.
