kielle has passed away. Words utterly escape me.

There are so many of you who have enriched my life, and the corners of my smiles, whose friendships I owe directly to this dear woman's efforts. Best as brain can tell at this hour- and pardon me but I'm not messing with code at this hour and with these feelings- active_apathy, angledge, atticus_rex, baseballchica03, beccak1961, blacktigr, cafemusique, cleolinda, diannelamerc, elbiesee, erinpuff, euphrasie, everyoung, glenmarshall, hanncoll, katesti, la_rainette, lisaofdoom, miss_katelynne, rwp, schmedgar, shappyshaps, shinuhana, targaff, thunderemerald, xparrot- I met, or in a few cases reinforced a connection with, every one of you through metaquotes.

In the ether between all of us and the other 6,000-plus members of this remarkable comm, there was Kielle- never in a heavy-handed or great-and-powerful-Ozzish sort of way but in a way that said, Welcome. Cope. Smile.

I'm having a bit of trouble with those last two at the moment, but I know she'd want us all to give it our best shot anyway.

Whether you're on that list or not, please. Hold your loved ones close and never let a day go by without letting them know that you love them. And if you get a moment, check her personal journal and read through some of the recent words that she, and her husband, shared and will share (eventually, once he summons far more strength than I can imagine) about her life, her crisis and the sadness they-- we-- faced.
