Letters to/from assorted corners of the universe

Dear Cranky Old Guy at the Gym:

Forgive me. It's the one day I forgot my player and headphones, and it had to be a holiday with an early closing so I didn't have time to go back and get them. But why is this the day I wind up next to you on an elliptical with you huffing and puffing and half-counting out loud for 20 freakin' minutes?

Know how that other stuff you use tells you to tell your doctor if it makes you, um, more important for more than four hours? Same kinda concept here, only it's what I don't want to HEAR, rather than see, in this case.

It's a holiday. Go remember something. I know, the one of you's in Canada. Remember that Victoria Day was a week ago today; close your eyes and think of Torchwood or something.
