Experiences from the Half-a-Loaf Bakery

captainsblogIt's my new line of work. I had so many glass-half-full moments yesterday, I suppose I also could have opened half a bar.
* Animals kept waking me up starting at 4, but I managed to hold off the actual feeding until close to 5- and this morning, they didn't wake me until close to 6:)
* That got me back for all of an hour of weird dreaminess before the alarm went off; I had an 8:30 office appointment before 9:30 court, who was a no-show. But it got me to court with time to spare:)
* "Court" was plural- but both in the same building 90 minutes apart. I would up at a broken parking meter- but didn't get ticketed:)
* Both clients lost in the strictest sense, but both got decent results as part of my being there:)
* Not everybody had paid by the time the mail came in and the other-office payroll got run, but enough did:)
Which gets us to today- court at 9 (and they will show up:), voting, and actual accomplishments. Maybe even some full ones:)
