Because it's late and I spent much of today shlepping around town:

* Kids' car is street-legal for another year and came in within budget. I will probably bring it back to them Thursday, but I may not even have to, since one or both of them are supposed to be coming back here this weekend anyway.

* I just found and corrected an error that someone not named Me made, which should recover almost $1,500 of tax overpayment for a literal Little Old Lady of a client. I don't expect a dime of it for the effort, but the feeling of accomplishment is itself worth a lot.

* And a followup on my post from last week, illustrated at the time with the same icon as above: KO must've appreciated the attention, because after a contentious Board of Ed meeting in the town last night with tons of washed up jocks concerned citizens continuing to protest the removal of a racist slur from the district's sports programs, he named them as his Worst Persons in the Worrrrrld! for the night. This is of course just more raw meat for the nutjobs, but it's fun watching them squirm.

I understand your feelings about the LOL's taxes - during this time of year I volunteer doing taxes for lower-income families, and they often are very pleased with the refunds they get...EITC is huge in those brackets.
