At the start of the last time the Sabres won two games in a row, I was still 51.  We'd wondered if it would happen again at any time after my 52nd birthday.

Blessedly, it just did. A nice, complete, well-played road game against one of the many teams we need to climb over to get back into playoff contention (most of whom, unfortunately, also won tonight).

The roster's healthier than it's been in months, the weirdness of the past three months has hopefully passed, and we could use a little Sabres magic right about now.

That was an awesome game! I was so glad to see Kaleta score the empty netter at the end. I'd read somewhere that Goose was hurt, so I was especially happy to see him on the ice. Looks like Lindy took advantage of the All-Star break to kick some butt! :)

Rangers are up next, and if anyone deserves an ass-kicking, it's them!

And for once we'll get to see it, 'cos it's on Versus (I refuse to call it that other thing).

Do you have Center Ice, or something else? Insanely jealous here. If this persists (and it's persisting, sadly), I may need to buy someone a Slingbox so I can at least semi-legally stream the things.

We spring for the Center Ice package, and it's worth every penny. Especially because it shows multiple broadcasts of the same game, so Steven never has to miss Rick Jeanneret!
