That's the payoff for twelve episodes?!?

Don't get me wrong. It was a nice O. Henry twist at the end and all, except that the On-Demand description of the episode included the preview "Kevin makes a stunning confession." What did you THINK I was gonna guess- that he couldn't hit the curveball?

A lot of loose ends got tied up, but more with twist-ties than real connectivity.  All that was missing was Thor singing Don't Stop Believing in the chapel scene to bring Edie's career full circle.

I still love too many of these people to give up on them, but unlike certain time-traveling septugicenterians, I'm not exactly hanging on their every move until we meet again.

Not the stunner of last season's close - that fantastic middle finger to whatever powers may be, standing her ground even as it opens beneath her, "Blow me!"

But I'm thoroughly hooked. Without the stabilizing influence of Kevin, with Akalitus and O'Hara both acting as enablers, how much further can Jackie fall?
