I seem to have acquired a mild sprain of my,.... wait for it.... left middle finger.

The cause, I suspect, was an exercise last night with one of my trainer's patented goofy inverse grips (hold the left of the bar palm-up, the other end palm-down, press for 10, then switch), but then maybe I just spent more time than usual today flipping people off.  I haven't lacked for subject matter- at work, anyway.

I figure I'll just take two aspirin and call someone a mofo in the morning.

Has there ever been a conclusion to NHL and NBA playoffs where both sets of games ended, two nights apart, and absolutely nobody was talking about who actually WON?

How I got the other news of the day today: a headline reading WEINER IS OUT.  I swear, once this guy's run of bad luck finishes, we're going to have to bail out the suddenly depressed stand-up comedy industry.

I'm sorry about Weiner. It's a combination of the published pictures and his unfortunate name, I fear. But I liked the guy's work.

It takes a huge ego to be able to run for high office, and a huge ego is the very thing that'll get you into trouble once you get there.
