For parents, anyway. What else would explain the absolute explosion of  zee leetle beh-behs on my Flist in the middle of May, nine months later, other than something other than humidity in the air of the preceding mid Augusts?

I've had this backup of birthdays here for years, and it's only gotten worse. Behold:

Wowsers. And yet April has only a handful; is July such a different month?

::passes the brain bleach::

Whatever. Some of you, I have passed along (or will) specific wishes, here or elsewhere. A few, I've sadly fallen out of touch with. Yet all of you are very dear to me. I wish the best in this month and all that Comes What May thereafter.

Church today was heavy on references to the 23rd Psalm. It seems a weird choice, something so funereal coming up during this season of alleged resurrection, but I don't pick the readings. I only make fun of them, especially when images like this from my young adulthood are hard to scrape away:

We also got treated to another after-service rant from the Biddies about Ben talking up a storm during church. Ben is in a good place, thanks, and we're still right next to him.

Speaking of resurrection: I've got a Time Lord to go check on.

I've heard that joke all my life about all the babies being born in May because people are bored in August.

The reason for people planning to have babies in May is because it's a good time for it- the mom doesn't have to deal with a summer pregnancy, she's not explosion-imminent huge while it's winter and icy out, and the baby is born in the spring, so you don't have to deal with bundling up a newborn like crazy in the middle of winter. It's very practical.
