Filk this

So thanatos_kalos has been infested with filks (wot a filk is, wot we wrote), and particularly wanted to set one to the tune of Great Big Sea's "The Night Patty Murphy Died." I suggested Rory Williams as a name that scanned, and could also overcome the general depression associated with, you know, DEATH. Sadly, she'd already filked one in his honour recently, so it fell to me. Some Facebook folk did the worst thing imaginable- they encouraged me- and this is the result.

Cracks in the wall made things complex and they ain't got simple yet
As long as the TARDIS flies around, we still have our hopes of gay

The Doctor opened the Pandorica, the time line his to save!

A Silurian did fire and our Rory seemed quite done!

A plastic Rory got transplanted back to ancient Rome
And then it took two thousand years to bring the two back home!

It took a two-part episode, but Amy finally sees
That this big chunk of polythene was in her memories!
There is no true coincidence- the two could only find
Each other and their love because he left the ring behind!
