Okay, just find yourself (U.S. residents only):

----

Knock on wood, but so far, it looks like I fixed Emily's car trouble with a $2.49 can of STP power steering fluid. Now let's see what it'll take to get Eleanor's truck inspected day after tomorrow....

----

The hellish humidity has broken, and there's a gorgeous breeze out there that's working its way nicely in here. I THINK it rained briefly sometime in the overnight, but other than that it seems to be dry sailing ahead except for some t-storms Saturday, and nothing above 75F for the coming week.

Which brings us to this week's This Modern World:

Come back next week, when Sarah and Michelle are gonna take on.... gravity!

"Ten days tornado free!"

Well, eight, really. *knocks on wood*

We're expecting the heat to break tonight, after some very intense but short-lived storms today...should be interesting...

Glad Emily's car seems to be working again, and with such a cheap and easy fix!

Interesting doesn't begin to describe it. I saw Susan's FB posts about the tornadoes round Springfield College, and our friend [livejournal.com profile] digitalemur, who works at Mt. Holyoke, was basically cowering in her cellar earlier. (I've wondered if you knew her (or possibly even were her) in a previous life, down to the odd coincidence of you both having had teeth knocked about in just the past week or so.)

We had the tornadoes last week, and today was just terrifying bursts of super-thunderstorm that lasted about 5min each.

Ow, hope her tooth is okay!
