That's how our late sister summed up the cabal of clawed-ones making up a voting majority of our immediate fam- me, our mom, her husband and her older daughter all fell under the Scorpio sign, and she, an irrepressible Leo, didn't like it one bit.

Yet we all got along somehow- as I generally have with others of that signage. One of my closest lawyer friends' birthday was yesterday, and another of them has hers at the end of next week.

All of this, though? Prelude to the wishes for today's Damn Scorpio girl, who I've now had the joy of sharing a bit of time, the amazement of her son, and the goodness of Original Noo Yawk (okay, New Jersey) pizza with. She's one of the most Christian atheists I've ever met, has been an immense and kind source of help to fellow fighters of insurance companies, and, other than some rather misguided hockey loyalties, is one of the nicest people I've gotten to meet through this place:)
