Hi, Neighbor:)

It was a hot and humid day in the neighborhood today. I did virtually nothing; multiple House of Cards episodes (almost finishing the season) and late afternoon trips to the office and gym. Meanwhile, the curbs and driveway surrounding Sally's old house were very busy, as a new family of some sort made its move into the house on the corner.

The previous tenants lasted short of four months, and we never even learned what their names were. These folks seem to be moving in for a greater duration, and when we're both less tired, stressed and (yes) drunk, we'll actually make an effort this time to say O Hai and introduce ourselves.

No sign(s) yet of incoming animals over there; it was a mistreated dog who soured us on the previous temporary tenants. Our hope this time is for a longer and better relationshp.
