Amazing what a good dozen hours of sleep and a restricted odometer can do for your general health. I've been up since 6:30 this morning, after being pretty much down after 6:30 last night, and we've passed Sneezes, Headache, Chills, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Amityville, Copaigue, Lindenhoist and Babylon on my way into the current town of Annoying But Productive Coughing Fitsville.

At least it's not rainin'.

(That, I suspect, may have contributed to the ickies of the past two days. It went from very warm, humid and sunny to a virtual cold ground-based fog the past two days, and sudden swings in temperature and barometric pressure tend to wig me out real good.)

----

While staying mostly in, I got major craploads of work done from here. Most of my backlog will be gone tomorrow, and if I continue to mend, I might- egads- see the inside of a gym tomorrow for the first time in a week!

----

I took Emily to high school this morning for, I later realized, probably the last time. She has no school next week and by September, she'll be driving. And NYSSSA starts a week from tomorrow.

----

I think I need to watch a Really Stupid Movie tonight. Either that, the finale of PD which I still ain't seen, or the S1 premiere of Nurse Jackie which is on Netflix until Monday. Suggestions?

What better to share than the one which has been stuck in my head all week with Supreme Leader being in the news?

I can't find the other parody from this era, of the Beach Boys doing "Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran!" Plus, things have gotten so much harder these days- wtf rhymes with "Ahmadinejad" anyway? (Well, other than Phil Collins putting out a new collection of protest ballads titled "No Ahmadinejad Required.")
