Not much.... you?
Mar. 30th, 2009 05:35 pmNot much to say, that is. One of those snap-your-fingers-and-the-day-is-done days. Useless court, mostly useless phone calls, mostly making plans for later in the week and next month.
One thing I probably should mention here: Metphistopheles, my long-neglected baseball blog, is slowly stirring back to life after its long winter's nap. Others on the Met blogroll have contributed in-person reports on this past weekend's test run of TARP Field with a college game played there. It looks beautiful and sounds like the management has cleaned up more than the filth in the Shea Stadium bathrooms- rather, spiffying up the attitudes of the quasi civil servants who you spend far more time interacting with than the actual players.
In honor of this development (and some other one elsewhere in the city which I know ::koff:: nothing about), the New Yorker offered this celebratory cover this week:

I'm glad we're in the top of the box. After all, they'll never get those toilets COMPLETELY clean.
